New Year’s Resolution: Become an Author!

Many of our young patrons love telling stories as much as they love listening to them. Here’s a chance to put their imaginations to work!

On January 12, the library’s free Winter Writing Program for preschoolers – fifth graders will begin! 

Program participants will receive blank books in which they can write and illustrate their own stories. New authors who create a book by February 23 will receive a prize. Plus, their stories will be recorded on video and posted to the library’s website.

Registration is required and will continue throughout January.

Where’s Rudolph’s favorite spot in Oxford?

The library, of course! Join us for our Rudolph-inspired holiday party, Reindeer Games, on Thursday, December 15 at 5 p.m. Children in grades preK-5 can play games, make a craft, eat a snack, and sing about everyone’s favorite reindeer! Registration is required so visit or call the library to sign up.
